1- All lots offered will be sold to the high bidder without reserve.

2 - No buy bids will be accepted. Bidders may increase their bids, by so indicating on the bid sheet, by any percentage up to 100%. When an increase is authorized, only as much of the increase as is necessary to secure the lot will be used.

3- All items offered are guaranteed genuine and to be as listed. Errors on the part of the cataloguer .will be cheerfully corrected. Please bid carefully as we cannot be respon¬ sible for the errors of others. As in term #1 , if you are the high bidder, you are the buyer.

4- Lots will be sent to successful bidders on open account, only to established customers. New bidders must furnish satisfactory credit references, or make a 2 5% deposit, or acc¬ ept C.O.D. shipment. New accounts requesting shipment to a P. O. Box or General Del¬ ivery must also furnish eithertheir home or business address.

5- Payment is due immediately upon receipt of merchandise or upon receipt of invoice, unless other arrangements are made in advance.

6- Lots will be available for inspection, by appointment only, at our bank at any time prior to closing date.

7- 4% Sales Tax will be added to all Illinois orders. Dealers may deduct the tax provided they furnish a signed exemption certificate and Illinois registration number.

8- Bids are to be made, and invoices paid, only in U.S. funds. Foreign bidders should advise if special shipping instructions are necessary.

9- Postage and insurance will be prepaid on all U.S. orders. Registration and shipping costs will be added to orders going outside the U.S.

10- Title to all coins remains with the cataloguer until paid for in full.

11- In case of tie bids, the earliest postmark will receive the lot.

12- Please bear in mind that this is not an approval sale, and returns are not permitted, errors in cataloging excepted.

Dear Friends:

Vi and I wish to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of you who have been so thoughtful and kind these past few weeks. The many, many letters, phone calls, cables, and personal messages that we have received, have meant a great deal to us, and have proven again, something we knew from long ago, that the Numismatic heart is just a little bigger than the average.

To those of you who have offered stock, loans, memos, etc. , we are very greatful, and if we do not call upon you, it isn't because we are not thankful, but rather because we have decided to rebuild the same way we got started, out of the proceeds of the daily business.

Our convention stock may be on the light side for a while, but the Mail Bids will continue on schedule, and will have a good variety of collectable items.

There is one thing we have learned from the loss of our coins that we

wish to pass on to you. It is simply not safe to transport coins by auto, but if you do

find it necessary, then the only acceptable way is for someone to be in the car at all s

times. TheTlight of hand manner in which we were victimized proves that the hand is still quicker than the eye, and please don't you try to prove otherwise.

Just received word that the California Foreign Coin Club is now meeting from 7:00 to 11:00 PM, on the second Friday of each month, at the community building of West Flollywood on 647 North San Vicente Blvd. Why don't you area folks plan to attend in the near future, and I know that out of towners will receive a royal welcome.
